We carry out assessments and deliver innovative interventions to the children and their families. In summary, we work by helping parents and teachers to identify what may be getting in the way of the child’s learning; identifying challenges and opportunities for the child and the family.
We provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of emotional and behavioural health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources.
We assess the emotional health needs and bahavioural health needs of children using observation, interviews with children and their families and psychological assessment tools and where appropriate, offer therapeutic treatment.
We work therapeutically with children and their families presenting with multiple and complex emotional and behavioural health needs; offering them a range of interventions which might include individual meetings, family sessions and multi-family group work. • We consult and work in partnership with careers, professionals and teachers.
We work with teachers on their understanding and development of skills in order to meet the needs of the referred children.
